Estonia Power Plant Protests Expand to All of Narva

Estonia Power Plant Protests Expand to All of Narva

Protests at Estonia's main power plant in Narva have now expanded to the entire city of Narva, which has a population of tens of thousands of people. This city wide riot could have severe consequences: Narva is a large industrial city and if the entire power plant is shut down the entire city could lose power.

The protest began because of the police brutality. Legislation has been proposed on the parliament floor but protests don't seem like they'll quiet down soon.
