Massive troop movement heading south
As the fallout from the nuclear power plant explosion in Leningrad threatens to fall on the Russia-Estonia border, 12,000 Russian troops are moving South to avoid nuclear radiation threats.
500 Russian soldiers stationed in Narva were ordered to move further westward into Estonia to avoid nuclear fallout as well.
Russian ecologist Aleksandr Korolev, who was consulted on the matter by the Russian Government, told RT that "it was essential to move the troops to ensure the safety of our fighters. We can say with near certainty that if the troops had stayed, they would have been fatally harmed by the radiation from the explosion."
