Sergei Kislyak Found Dead in Hotel Room
At around noon, Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak was found dead with at least 100 milligrams of Arsenic is his system, which has been confirmed to be his official cause of death. Kislyak had previously met with the US ambassador at a bar but the conversation was rumored to have gotten heated, and Kislyak returned to his room at Trump International Hotel in DC.
Kislyak was scheduled for a morning phone interview with Russia's Chief of Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, but was not heard from all morning. The Russian Government has demanded for his body to be returned, however US officials have resisted as they are looking to further investigate this suspected homicide.
Russian officials suspect foul play, and tensions are rising.
