NARVA, ESTONIA - Reports have been received stating that the United States Ambassador to Estonia, James D. Melville, has been abducted during protests at the Estonian power plant. All communication between Melville and his security detail has been lost and has yet to be reestablished. The Acting Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, released a statement regarding the matter early this morning.
“We are currently investigating this high priority matter. Ambassador Melville’s abduction will not be ignored by the United States and we expect to hold perpetrators accountable,” McCabe said. “This is a gross violation of the peaceful negotiations we hoped to engage in with Estonia.”
U.S. President Donald Trump has yet to release a statement on the matter. ▪
