Police Brutally Crack Down on Workers at Estonia Plant

Police Brutally Crack Down on Workers at Estonia Plant

Police have brutally cracked down on the hundreds of workers that showed up at Estonia's main power plant in Narva. No casualties have been reported yet.

The workers, who have been there since 7 AM, say that this attack will not stop them from protesting. One particular protester, who asked to remain anonymous, said that "it's completely unreasonable that [the protesters] are getting attacked just for peacefully protesting [their] unfair treatment."

This incident stopped further talk and has negatively impacted Estonia-US relations. The United States Ambassador to Estonia has been advised to leave the premises.

The Baltic Times reached out to Eesti Energia but they refused to comment.
