ESTONIA NEXT IN LINE TO BE PRESIDENT OF EUROPEAN UNION

Six members of the European Parliament are from Estonia, the country that is next in line to be President of the EU. Estonia’s presidency of the EU will take place from July 2017 to December 2017. Representatives from Estonia regularly attend Council Meetings, which are held by the Council of the EU to adopt EU laws and coordinate policies. Andrus Ansip will temporarily be in charge of Digital Economy & Society.
